Hello everyone! I hope this type of post is ok here. My mother owns a beautiful condo West Ashley at The Arboretum, and has been living with my husband and I for several months. We need extra income and are trying to find renters.
More information can be found at http://liveatthearboretum.blogspot.com/. Feel free to pass this along if you know anyone in the market. We're looking to post this at the City Paper and the Post & Courier soon, but hoped to get a little free 'word of mouth' in the mean time.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking. |

| » It's nice to see something like this happen in Charleston. |
First, check out The Digitel. It seems to be quite neat.
Second, I'm a proud apatheist and I wish more people would embrace it and not cover up who they are when it comes to standing on your own mental and moral foundations!
Here's to all of you free thinking individuals out there!

| » off-the-wall question |
Has anyone in this community ever heard of, or know anything about, a small restaurant on 17-A in Moncks Corner called Subhaanallah African Cuisine? I'm always interested in trying out new ethnic restaurants but don't know anything about this place other than its hours (apparently open M-Sa for lunch only, 11-3). I can't find any references to it on the internet so I'm guessing it's either really new or really under-the-radar. I know of it only by chance...saw it one day while driving through Moncks Corner.
Thanks in advance...

| » Question for you all. |
What's your opinion of our local Congressional Representative, Henry Brown, and one US Senator, Lindsey Graham, staunchly opposing using the Naval Brig here for housing "enemy combatants and the like" from Guantanamo Bay?
I think it's just more useless politicians trying to sidestep an issue. Spineless fucking gasbags, but that doesn't surprise me. I'd vote to use the Brig to house them. But that's just me.
We've been having terrorist suspects incarcerated here already. Anyone remember the names Padilla, Hamdi, and al-Marri? Hell, the last guy is still there as far as I know.
With budgets sure to be cut in coming months and years, wouldn't you want to be an IMPORTANT asset to the Committee that signs the checks and keeps your base open? Call me crazy...

Anyone around town--especially Summerville--use Vonage as their landline provider? Are they good, bad, ugly? Anything I should know?
Thanks in advance...
